May your breasts be like grape clusters

This piece started with a little piece of plaster i found during a plaster workshop that looked like a nipple.

I decided to make a mold out of it and create a garment.
The chainmail is historically used to protect the body, made out of hard materials,
the assembly makes it supple.
I decided to use this nipple shape to represent intimacy as a strength. Protecting ourselves with our vulnerability and assembling it all together creates flow instead of stillness, connection instead of fragments.
The porcelain, which is the hardest clay was only suitable for a garment if used in little pieces and with an attachment process that made it fluid.
